International portrait series

This is a series of portraits I painted to hang in our church for the purposes of reminding people to pray for the nations, inspiring them to go to proclaim the gospel, and sending others to be a light to the nations. The water background reflects the truth that no matter what our ethnicity, through faith in Jeus Christ, we are baptized into the family of God. The portraits are of actual people from Congo, Belarus, Bhutan, Afghanastan, and Peru, as well as a Somalia Bantu refugee living in the U.S.
