Florals

I am fascinated with the intricacy, variety, and beauty of flowers. Several years ago I became interested in gardening, which for me is painting with God's colors. Even though it is impossible to match the splendor of the real thing, I can't help but try to capture glimpses of these glorious creations. As a Biology major, I have long been an admirer of nature. Orchids have especially captured my imagination. Some of them have parts that remind me of cherubim with 6 wings, others look like someone in an attitude of prayer. Iris are also lovely in their fragile boldness.
